Tanks are the Modern Age’s promise: the mobility of cavalry, the survivability of a wall, and firepower neither ever had. An armored push into an unprepared position ends the same way every time.
Prepared positions are a different story. Anti-armor defenses, air strikes, and heavier vehicles all specifically exist to make tank players humble — which is why armor works best as the spearhead of a combined force, not as the whole army.
