Battlefield role

Breaks exposed formations, deletes ranged units, and forces opponents to fight where their spears are.

Knights are pressure made physical. From Castle Age onward, any archer line without a screen, any villager line without spears, any siege engine without escort is living on knight-shaped borrowed time.

Their weakness is equally famous: spears. The knight player’s real game is geometry — pulling defenders out of position, splitting attention, and delivering the charge where the braced line isn’t. When it works, fights end in seconds.
